We came to Combs as new patients with our 6 year old cat who had some nasty teeth. They looked at them for us and told us he would definitely need them cleaned and possible pulled, but they assured me we were not bad cat parents and this can happen to cats all of the time, their reassurance was definitely needed and appreciated! They were completely up front with the cost of the surgery and provided us with an estimate on the higher end (our total was like $50 cheaper but I appreciated the higher estimate so we weren’t blindsided by a larger bill!) to prepare for his surgery appointment down the line. Throughly explained how to give him his meds and answered every single question and never seemed annoyed at all! Surgery day was super easy and unfortunately our cat had to lose all of his teeth; however, he is the happiest he has ever been. They did such a great job he has shown no signs of pain at all and seems like their decision to remove his teeth was the best thing that could’ve happened to him. He was comfy after surgery just a little tired from his meds (pictured😹) He must have been hiding his pain for awhile even though he still ate dry food and acted the same we just thought he was getting older and slower! If your cat has some yucky teeth I would recommend getting them checked out right away and Combs did a great job. It has been 10 days since his surgery and he is seriously completely normal and even better than before. Their price estimate was super accurate and they provided an itemized bill without even having to ask which can be tricky with some vets! Highly recommend this vet!
